Help & FAQs

The majority of exhibitors usually hear from a suitable selection of affordable suppliers within 24hrs of posting their brief. During busy times of the year (Spring & Autumn) it may take a little longer.

To help attract the best suppliers ensure you create a good brief - for tips and advice be sure to read our 'guide to creating a brilliant brief' which can be accessed via the 'Getting started' page.

Navigate to your 'Briefs' page (your five most recently created briefs can also be viewed on the dashboard). Within each brief card look for the 'Responses' button highlighted blue - this displays the number of suppliers who have pitched to work with you, click this button to view then shortlist your favourite suppliers to reveal their contact details.

Estimates: An estimate is achieved by using our StandEstimator tool and is only available to users considering a full stand build. This tool was designed to give a rough idea of costs from the outset, if you're just looking for a few bits to dress your plot we won't be able to provide you with an estimate. An estimate is not a brief but can be converted into a brief directly from the StandEstimator tool via a click of a button! Alternatively your estimate can be saved and populated into your 'Estimates' page then revisited later.

Briefs: If you're not using the estimator tool, everything else you create on the platform should be considered a brief and can be located and viewed on your 'Briefs' menu tab. Every brief you create will exist in one of three states: 'Open' (published & live), 'Draft' (partially completed & saved) or, 'Archived' (expired - expiration occurs after your IN date).

Both exhibitors and suppliers are free to offer feedback once contracts have been completed giving both parties an opportunity to reflect. Your exhibitor rating is an average score compiled as suppliers rate you across the following categories:

> 1-5 ... Respectability

> 1-5 ... Clarity of brief

> 1-5 ... Smoothness of workflow

> 1-5 ... Adherence to agreed plan when onsite

> 1-5 ... Honouring your payment terms

In turn you have the opportunity to rate your supplier(s) across the following categories:

> 1-5 ... Customer service

> 1-5 ... Quality of work

> 1-5 ... Reliability & timekeeping

> 1-5 ... Onsite conduct & professionalism

> 1-5 ... Value for money

When clicking on the 'Get started now' button (located throughout your user account) you’ll be taken through to the 'Getting started' page. You're then presented with two options:

1. I just need a few items ... Choose this option if you're looking for items to enhance an existing stand/plot, here you'll find the suppliers you need to quickly source bits to help dress your existing stand/plot. Perhaps you just need some merchandise or graphic banners or maybe you need some carpet, a few tables and chairs and some basic AV bits. Remember the StandEstimator tool isn’t available for users who choose this route.

2. I need a stand built ... Choose this option if you're looking for a complete solution, here you'll typically find stand production companies and producers who offer end-to-end turn-key solutions, ideal if you want someone to look after everything for you! In the ‘Create a brief’ form you can also freely check other requirement boxes under the 'Fitting Out Your Stand' section.

For your convenience only the 5 most recently created briefs are shown on your dashboard.  These include published (OPEN) and draft (SAVED) briefs.  To view all briefs click ‘Open all briefs’ on your dashboard or the select menu tab: ‘Briefs’.

As soon as you hit 'Pitch' the exhibitor will be notified, if they like what they see they'll add you to their shortlist, which in-turn reveals your contact details, we'll also send you an email notification. Once they've had chance to review your pitch they’ll be in touch if they think you're a good fit. Its hard to say how long this might take but it usually depends on a few things:

1. How urgently the exhibitor needs a solution

2. How closely your price matches their budget

3. How relevant any attached images are to the exhibitor’s vision

It's also worth mentioning there are only ever three outcomes as a result of you pitching on a brief:

You make the shortlist (we'll notify you) ... and the exhibitor contacts you
You make the shortlist (we'll notify you) ... but the exhibitor decides not to contact you
You don't make the shortlist (we'll notify you)

Specification only ever applies to full stand builds and can be seen listed on the brief card next to ‘Budget’. When an exhibitor is creating their stand design brief they're asked to select a specification to help give suppliers a clearer idea of their expectations and initial vision, specifically; the complexity, quality and overall look & feel: There are 3 types of specification to look out for:

> Retail: Clients with lower budgets and expectations are usually looking for a basic but professional looking sales space

> Business Pro: Clients with mid-range budgets and expectations are usually looking to make an impression and stand out from the crowd

> Premium: Clients with bigger budgets and expectations are usually looking for a highly original sales space with integrated tech and various bespoke features

The exhibitor creates the brief and is freely able to delete and/or cancel it at any time. If a brief you've previously pitched on disappears from either your 'Pitched' or 'Shortlisted' tab its because the exhibitor (person in charge of creating the content) has decided to delete and/or cancel the job.
